Shark cartilage powder

Shark cartilage powder is not a medicine, but a natural remedy that is used as a dietary supplement. Many scientific studies and test series have proven the success of taking shark cartilage for health problems. The effects on the diseases arthritis, osteoporosis, psoriasis and cancer, on which the studies and statements are based, are discussed in detail in the book "Why sharks are immune to cancer" by Dr. William Lane and Linda Comac. It is known that the shark has hardly changed in almost 400 million years and is extremely resistant to disease. Researchers and scientists have been trying to understand this phenomenon for a long time. What distinguishes the shark from other vertebrates in the first place and what gives it its high resistance to disease? The shark's skeleton and large parts of the head and tail fin consist almost exclusively of cartilage compared to other vertebrates and humans, where rapid ossification occurs continuously after the embryonic state. In addition, the shark has about a thousand times as much cartilage as another comparably sized mammal. In addition to amino acids and minerals, shark cartilage contains high-quality proteins and complex carbohydrates (muscopolysaccharides). A description of the mode of action from a part of the report published by the Gerson Institute Bonita, California, in the magazine "The Wellness Network": We may be witnessing a major breakthrough in the search for a natural substance that is free of side effects. This shark cartilage substance is now finding wider application in the treatment of arthritis, osteoporosis, psoriasis and even cancer. The results of studies conducted by scientists in various countries emphasize the anti-inflammatory effect of this substance, but also its ability to stimulate the cellular and humoral components of our immune system, which also gives the substance effectiveness against bacteria, viruses and fungal infections. Dr. Carl Luer from Mote Marine Laboratories also explained that a certain component in the cartilaginous skeleton of the shark has the ability to prevent the formation of blood vessels (anti-angiogenesis). This is important in all inflammatory (arthritis, osteoporosis) and tumor diseases. Shark cartilage prevents the supply of nutrients to inflammatory processes in the body by not supplying the surrounding tissue. Dr. Serge Orloff, a leading Western European arthritis expert, conducted a study using shark cartilage as early as 1988. Dr. Orloff administered shark cartilage extract to people, giving them 9 grams of shark cartilage extract daily for four weeks. This was followed by 4.5 grams over an additional extended period. He was impressed with the results, particularly those of a 49-year-old female patient suffering from femoropatellar "degenerative" joint disease and low back pain due to chronic disc damage. The patient's pain level decreased by 50 percent after two weeks of treatment and then by a further 50 percent after six weeks of further treatment. She reported that she could bend both knees and her back with less pain while doing her daily work and she felt that she had stronger muscles. The preparation is one of the few cartilage preparations to contain this defense-boosting substance. As shark cartilage is a proven, well-tolerated substance with no side effects, it can be used as a natural dietary supplement at any time in conjunction with other therapies. The mode of action of the cartilage - namely stimulation of the immune system and inhibition of a new blood vessel network - should not interfere with other therapies.

In addition to its natural content of chondroitin and glucosamine, Shark Cartilage has other amazing properties that go beyond those of enhanced mucopolysaccharides. Research has found that Shark Cartilage can be a very powerful anti-inflammatory without being toxic. Of particular interest to people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis is the potential effect of Shark Cartilage to boost the immune system.
