The OLIMP GLUCOSAMINE preparation contains glucosamine sulphate and vitamin C, substances that are essential for the proper formation of cartilage and joint tissue. Studies have shown that glucosamine is an essential substrate for the biosynthesis of proteoglycans in the human body. The proteoglycans build and maintain the cartilage-joint tissue. Glucosamine strengthens the joints, stimulates collagen synthesis, contributes to the reconstruction of articular cartilage and supports its regeneration. Under physiological conditions, glucosamine is synthesized from glucose.

Its deficiency is manifested by disturbances in the biosynthesis of proteoglycans, which leads to degenerative changes in the joints. Vitamin C - actively participates in biochemical processes in the body, is indispensable in the biosynthesis of collagen - connective tissue found in cartilage, ligaments, tendons and bones; it ensures their resistance to breakage and stretching, as well as their elasticity.

Clinical studies show that glucosamine is an effective and safe alternative to standard medicines.
