Citrulline malate with flavor option

Most citrulline products on the market are unflavored. BioTech USA takes a different approach and offers a green apple version in addition to the classic unflavored version. This product is aimed specifically at athletes who do not like the slightly sour taste of citrulline malate and prefer a more pleasant intake. Both versions contain no sugar and no aspartame.

The ingredient L-citrulline was first isolated from watermelon, which is where the name comes from. In human metabolism, the amino acid serves as a precursor to L-arginine, which plays a role in the nitric oxide cycle. Due to its combination with malic acid - the malate form - it is now part of the repertoire of many athletes and it is hard to imagine pre-workout stacks without it.

Recommended intake

The manufacturer recommends dissolving a portion of 3.2 g powder in 200 ml water and drinking it before training. The green apple variant has a fruity taste that is also suitable as a training drink.
