Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG) is one of the two common dosage forms of L-arginine in food supplements. The compound consists of L-arginine and alpha-ketoglutaric acid in a ratio of 2:1. L-arginine is a semi-essential amino acid that the body can produce itself, but only to a limited extent.

This product provides 1,250 mg AAKG per capsule, which corresponds to around 813 mg of pure L-arginine. The 300 dose offers the same content per capsule as the 120 dose variant, but is particularly worthwhile for users who have permanently incorporated AAKG into their routine.
