Mix 1 portion of the product (25 g = 3 heaped scoops) in a shaker with 300-400 ml of water or any other liquid. Take 1 serving on training days, after intensive training within 4 hours or during prolonged training during sporting activity.

Cluster Dextrin™ is a multi-branched cyclic dextrin derived from corn starch. It is precisely this branched structure that distinguishes it from simple carbohydrate powders. Because this dextrin is the only ingredient, the powder has a very mild taste and can be stirred into any liquid without clumping.

This structure results in low osmolarity, meaning it has a low tendency to bind water. Because this value remains low, the powder passes through the stomach quickly and binds hardly any water in the digestive tract. The rapid passage through the stomach is gentle on the stomach and ensures good tolerability even when consumed in larger quantities.

How to use cyclic dextrin during training

Whether mixed undiluted in 300 to 400 ml of water or added to your intra-workout drink, a shake, or your protein, the powder does not alter the flavor. During long workouts, consume it throughout the session to keep your glycogen stores replenished. After an intense workout, take it within four hours to replenish your depleted stores.

What is the difference between cyclic dextrin and maltodextrin?
The molecular weight of cluster dextrin is 200 to 1,000 times that of conventional maltodextrin. It is precisely this significantly higher molecular weight that constitutes the key difference from conventional maltodextrin.

How much cyclic dextrin should I take per serving?
For one serving, dissolve 3 heaping scoops (25 g) in enough water or another liquid until the powder is completely dissolved. This amount covers your carbohydrate needs around a workout and can be adjusted to your body weight and the intensity of your training as needed.

Is cyclic dextrin vegan and gluten-free?
The powder contains no animal-derived ingredients and is therefore suitable for a vegan diet. However, it is manufactured in a facility that also processes gluten, among other things, which is why we do not label it as gluten-free.
