Amino acid profile with a high lysine content

HIT EAA is based on an amino acid profile which, in addition to the three BCAAs, also contains the other essential amino acids in relevant quantities. The high lysine content of 1099 mg, which is on a par with L-leucine, is striking. L-threonine follows with 975 mg, L-tryptophan with 520 mg, L-methionine with 501 mg and L-phenylalanine with 447 mg. L-histidine is included at 65 mg and rounds off the complete profile of all 9 EAAs.

The 1.2 mg of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) per serving covers 85% of the daily reference amount. According to EU Health Claims, vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Recommended intake

The manufacturer recommends dissolving 1 serving (2 scoops, approx. 13 g) in 250 ml of cold water and drinking between meals or before, during or after training.

Gigas Nutrition tip: The HIT EAA can be combined well with a cluster dextrin or high molecular weight carbohydrate as an intra-workout drink. If you are looking for a complete intra-workout setup, take a look at our Glyco Pro from GN Laboratories.
