Biotech USA combines L-tyrosine with iodine in this product. Per daily serving (2 capsules) it provides 1,000 mg L-tyrosine and 100 µg iodine, which corresponds to 67 % of the recommended daily intake of iodine. 100 capsules per can, i.e. 50 portions.

L-tyrosine is a semi-essential amino acid that the body forms from L-phenylalanine. In sports nutrition, it is one of the most frequently used single amino acids and is often taken before training.

L-tyrosine plus iodine - the Biotech USA formula

While most L-tyrosine capsules come either pure or with B vitamins, Biotech USA takes a different approach: iodine instead of vitamins. Iodine is a trace element that, according to EFSA, contributes to normal thyroid function.¹⁾

The L-tyrosine content is 73% per capsule. This is a high value. The rest is made up of the capsule shell (gelatine), anti-caking agent and potassium iodide. Not vegan.

Recommended dosage

Two capsules daily before a meal or before training. Do not take together with other iodine-containing food supplements to avoid exceeding the recommended iodine intake.
