What sets Olimp's Carbonox apart?

The hallmark of Carbonox is its combination of three carbohydrate sources, graded according to their glycemic index. Glucose has a high GI and is rapidly available, maltodextrin falls in the middle range, and isomaltulose, with a low GI, releases its energy gradually. According to the manufacturer, this gradient ensures a stable energy supply for about two hours.

This formulation really pays off during long workouts: The high proportion of isomaltulose and maltodextrin keeps insulin levels stable and continuously supplies the working muscles, rather than causing a crash after a quick sugar rush. The delayed release of isomaltulose also supports the replenishment of glycogen stores after training.

L-arginine and 12 vitamins in the formula

In addition to carbohydrates, each serving contains the amino acid L-arginine. According to the manufacturer, it promotes nitrogen production and thus the dilation of blood vessels, ensuring that muscles receive a stronger blood flow and are supplied with oxygen and nutrients.

The vitamin complex covers all major groups, from vitamins A, C, D, and E to the B vitamins. According to the manufacturer, the vitamins increase the utilization of carbohydrates, while the antioxidant potential of some vitamins helps mitigate training-induced stress on muscle cells.

To prepare, dissolve a 50 g serving in 100 ml of water. The manufacturer recommends two servings daily, about 30 minutes before or immediately after your workout.
