40 mg of beta-carotene per capsule – what makes this formula special?

Most beta-carotene capsules deliver one ingredient. BetaSUN delivers four different carotenoids: beta-carotene (40 mg), lutein, astaxanthin, and carotene from carrot. These are deposited in the skin and produce a more natural tone than pure beta-carotene alone.

Added to that are L-tyrosine and L-cysteine. Both amino acids are used by the body as building blocks for melanin, the pigment responsible for the skin's natural tanning. Copper rounds it off: it contributes to normal skin pigmentation.¹⁾

Dosage: When and how many capsules per day?

The best time is in the morning on an empty stomach. Start with one capsule before breakfast. If needed, you can take a second capsule six to eight hours later.

For your summer vacation: start four to six weeks in advance. The carotenoids need time to be deposited in the skin. If you only start at the airport, you'll miss the effect.

Important: do not take for longer than eight weeks at a time, followed by a four-week break. A maximum of three capsules within 24 hours.

Do tanning capsules really give you a tan?
Tanning capsules alone do not give you a tan. The carotenoids are stored in the skin and can make the complexion appear warmer. The actual tanning is caused by UV rays, which stimulate melanin production. With L-tyrosine and copper, BetaSUN provides nutrients that the body uses for this process. Copper contributes to normal skin pigmentation.¹⁾

How quickly do carotene capsules work?
Most users report the first visible changes after three to four weeks of regular use. The carotenoids need time to accumulate in the upper layers of the skin. It is therefore worth starting in good time before the vacation.

Can I also take BetaSUN without sun?
The carotenoids in the formula accumulate in the skin independently of sunlight and can make the complexion appear slightly warmer. However, UV contact is necessary for a visible natural tan, as this stimulates the body's own melanin production.

Which tanning capsules are high-dose?
