The formula provides 4 g L-leucine, 2 g L-valine and 2 g L-isoleucine per serving (10 capsules). In addition, there is a vitamin B complex of niacin (16 mg), vitamin B6 (1.4 mg), vitamin B12 (2.5 µg) and pantothenic acid (6 mg), each with 100% of the nutrient reference value per daily dose.

The vitamins contained contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue as well as to normal energy metabolism. Vitamin B6 also contributes to normal protein metabolism and the normal function of the immune system, while pantothenic acid contributes to the normal synthesis and normal metabolism of steroid hormones and vitamin D.

What the 5+5 split is for

Peak prescribes a two-part intake: 5 capsules around 20 minutes before training and a further 5 capsules around 20 minutes after the start of training. This means that the amino acid pool is not exclusively in the pre-workout phase, but also extends to the intensive exercise itself.

If you take one portion on a training day, the 240-capsule tin will last you 24 training days. With three to four sessions per week, the pack will last for around two months.

When is the best time to take it?
Peak recommends 5 capsules around 20 minutes before training and a further 5 capsules around 20 minutes after the start of training, in each case with sufficient liquid. This ensures that the amino acid pool is available during both the warm-up and the main phase of the workout.

Are the capsules suitable for vegetarians?
No. The capsule shell consists of bovine gelatine. This means that the BCAA Caps are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

How many training days does one can cover?
