Glucofast by PEAK is a carbohydrate powder made from maltodextrin (99.8%), derived from hydrolyzed corn starch. A 50-gram serving provides 48 grams of carbohydrates in the form of pure maltodextrin polymer, with no fat or protein.

Maltodextrin (99.8 %), vitamin mixture (ascorbic acid, nicotinamide, alpha-tocopheryl acetate, calcium D-pantothenate, thiamine nitrate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, biotin, cyanocobalamin).
Dissolve 50 g Glucofast (approx. 5 tablespoons / approx. 2 measuring spoons) in 250 ml of water or fruit juice and drink it before, during or after physical exertion; you can also adjust the amount of Glucofast to your individual needs and increase or decrease it.

What makes PEAK's Glucofast stand out?

What makes Glucofast special is the combination of two properties that are usually mutually exclusive. On the one hand, there is the high glycemic index of 115, which makes the carbohydrates a rapidly available source of energy rather than releasing them slowly over hours. On the other hand, there is the low osmolarity of 100 mOsm.

Osmolarity describes how strongly dissolved particles bind water in the gastrointestinal tract. Because this value is low in Glucofast, the finished solution puts little strain on the stomach and remains tolerable even in larger amounts per sip, whereas pure dextrose quickly reaches its limit. It is precisely this medium-molecular-weight maltodextrin polymer from a single source that combines both values in one product.

Vitamin Complex and Use in a Stack

Glucofast contains 10 added vitamins, including vitamin C, vitamin E, and the B-complex from thiamine to B12. These are listed as nutritional information on the label and supplement the carbohydrate base with micronutrients.

Since Glucofast has neither a distinct taste nor its own amino acids, it can be easily stirred into an existing shake, for example, with protein and creatine in a post-workout drink. This way, you link your carbohydrate intake directly to the building blocks you’re already consuming after your workout.
