Berberine - a miracle weapon with multiple benefits

Berberine is an absolute insider tip! Why? Although there is no official scientific proof of an effect to date, there are increasing numbers of results from individual studies as well as field reports that attest to the alkaloid's extremely interesting effects, including on blood sugar and cholesterol management.

As a so-called GDA (Glucose Disposal Agent), berberine is particularly popular before meals with a high carbohydrate content, as it is said to promote improved carbohydrate absorption as glycogen in the muscles. An important fact about berberine is its unfortunately reduced bioavailability in its original form. To improve this, piperine from black pepper extract has also been added to berberine.
