What makes the kidney complex strong: standardized plant substances

Astragalus is at the heart of the complex: 2,000 mg per daily dose, standardized to 50 % polysaccharides. That is 1,000 mg active content. Many cheap extracts only contain 5 to 10 %. Cordyceps and bearberry (uva ursi) are also added, a combination that you rarely find in this form. Parsley, juniper and celery complete the complex. Astragalus: the root with a long tradition

The heart of the kidney complex is astragalus, botanically Astragalus membranaceus, also known as tragacanth. This root has been valued in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. What counts for the complex is the quality of the extract: a concentrated, standardized extract instead of simple plant powder. This means that each capsule contains a documented active ingredient content, not a coarse grind with an unclear quantity.

Why bearberry instead of cranberry?

Cranberry? Deliberately not. The kidney complex contains bearberry (uva ursi). The reason is the arbutin: the extract is standardized to 20 %, which results in 100 mg per daily dose. For you, this means that you can see in black and white how much active plant substance you are getting. Cranberry provides a different profile with the proanthocyanidins, often without a clear quantity. Bearberry has both: a clearly standardized quantity and a long tradition.

Consumption: six capsules a day

Why six capsules and not two? Because the complex contains the full amount of 4,600 mg of standardized plant extracts, not a reduced dose. Take them throughout the day: two in the morning, two at lunchtime, two in the evening, with plenty of water. This will keep your intake even and one dose will last you 30 days. With plant substances, what counts in the end is regularity over several weeks.
