Pure L-Tryptophan Formula Without Extras

Unlike combination products that mix L-tryptophan with B vitamins or magnesium, Biotech USA L-Tryptophan contains only the amino acid itself. This is interesting if you prefer to manage your micronutrients separately and do not want to risk doubled amounts.

The L-tryptophan content per capsule is 42%. The rest consists of a filler (calcium phosphates), the gelatin capsule shell, and anti-caking agent. The capsule shell is not vegan.

L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid and serves the body as a precursor for the formation of serotonin and melatonin. Since the body cannot produce L-tryptophan on its own, it must be obtained through food or dietary supplements.

No. The capsule shell consists of gelatine. If you are looking for a vegan alternative, you should look for products with an HPMC capsule shell.

What is the difference between Biotech USA and PEAK Tryptophan?
