Probably the most comprehensive and effective joint health and regeneration formula on the market

If you take a look at the shelves of your favorite supplement retailers you will find that there is a plethora of supplements promising instant relieve or long-term protection from joint pain and degeneration. And while many of them have proven to be effective, they are usually based on only one, maximal two active ingredients.
What really makes the difference between Joint Cissus Complex and other currently available joint care products is its unique ingredient complex. Gigas Laboratories’ Joint Cissus Complex contains four tried and proven, highly effective agents within a single product. Despite the great number of active ingredients, the individual doses are yet at least as high as in the vast majority of single-ingredient preparations on the market!
This is also true for the most innovative substance in Joint Cissus Complex: Cissus Quadrangularis, a compound with proven anticatabolic properties that will decrease your cortisol levels and help you to stay in a positive nitrogen balance. Next to its beneficial effects on joint health, Joint Cissus Complex will thus also help you avoid muscle loss, when you’re dieting and promote increases in lean muscle tissue, when you are bulking.
Let’s now briefly take a look at the four carefully selected ingredients and their individual and synergistic physiological effects that make Joint Cissus Complex so uniquely effective.

    1. Glucosamine Sulfate

For a chemist glucosamine sulfate is nothing but the combination of a glucose molecule and an amino acid. Within the human body, glucosamine is however one of the most important building blocks of the cartilage tissue in our joints. It should therefore be obvious that a sufficient supply of dietary or supplemental glucosamine or its precursors is necessary to supply the raw material for cartilage regeneration, maintenance and repair.
Numerous scientific studies and a vast number of personal, as well as published case reports support the notion that adequate doses of supplemental glucosamine will support the repair of both, the inevitable daily wear and tear, as well as the acute tissue damage due to injuries. Supplemental glucosamine is therefore able to counter, or at least ameliorate the crippling effects of arthritis. Moreover, the scientifically verified lubricating effects of supplemental glucosamine, which are brought about by its ability to increase the amount of fluid in the cavities of joints will augment the aforementioned effects, improve joint mobility and guard heavily lifting strength trainees against future joint problems.
Due to its low molecular size, glucosamine sulfate is very well absorbed (up to 98%) and has a consequently high oral bioavailability. Since it is no pain medication, but a necessary building block for cartilage repair and reconstruction, it can however take up to two months until its beneficial effects become noticeable. These effects are yet permanent and will, contrary to the short-lived non-structural analgesic effects of NSAIDs and other pain medications, remain even when you stop taking Joint Cissus Complex.

    2. Chondroitin Sulfate

Chrondoitin sulfate is, next to glucosamine sulfate, one of the main building blocks of articular cartilage. It is particularly important for its structural integrity and will, due to its positive effect on the water contents of the cartilage, also increase the resilience of connective tissue against mechanical compression, an effect which is of particular importance for strength trainees, who are especially susceptible to degenerative joint diseases that are brought about by low levels of chondroitin sulfate.
As in the case of glucosamine sulfate there is plenty of scientific, as well as anecdotal evidence which confirms that the provision of chondroitin sulfate in supplemental form will slow or stop the degeneration and promote the regeneration of cartilage that’s been damaged by the wear and tear of everyday life and / or weight bearing exercises.
Since chondroitin and glucosamine sulfate work synergistically, it is not surprising that scientists and practitioners, alike, consider a combination of both superior to glucosamine or chondroitin monotherapies. Many contemporary scientists even go so far to say that deficiencies in one or both of these essential nutrients are among the most important driving forces of arthritis, i.e. the degeneration of joints and cartilage.

    3. MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)

Methylsulfonylmethane, also known as DMSO2, or methyl sulfone, is an important source of biologically active sulfur. It contains 34% elemental sulfur, the eighth most abundant element in the human body that’s incorporated, used and involved in more than hundred important molecules and processes in the human body. Against that background it is actually not surprising that sulfur is also part of the collagen matrix that makes up the lion’s share of the cartilage tissue in your joints.
Despite the structural importance of MSM, many scientists believe that its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects are of even greater significance with respect to its beneficial effects on joint health. Methylsulfonylmethane is therefore the ideal complement to glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate as far as the management and regression of existing and the prevention of future joint problems are concerned. This hypothesis is supported by several placebo-controlled trials in which arthritic patients in the active study arm (receiving MSM at dosages similar to those that are used in Joint Cissus Complex) reported significant reductions in joint pain compared to their peers who had been randomized to receive an ineffective placebo.

    4. Cissus Quadrangularis Extract

Cissus Quadrangularis has been used as an analgesic, antimicrobial and antioxidant agent since ancient times. Its purported beneficial effects on the regeneration of fractured bones have been confirmed in several animal studies and there is a plethora of research that supports the long-held belief that Cissus Quadrangularis will also promote tendon and ligament repair.
Probably less known, but certainly not less exciting, are its scientifically established anticatabolic effects. Due to its ability to keep the protein catabolic hormone cortisol at bay, Cissus Quadrangularis can help you to remain in a positive nitrogen balance and will thus promote the accrual and preservation of skeletal muscle.
In Joint Cissus Complex we use a high quality extract from Cissus Quadrangularis that has been standardized to 40% total ketosterones and 20% 3-ketosterones. This ensures that each serving of Joint Cissus Complex contains exactly the amount of active substances you need for the aforementioned beneficial effects to occur.

    5. Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is an agent most people know as an ingredient of cosmetics or dietary supplements to promote skin health. The fact that hyaluronic acid is also one of the most important constituents of articular cartilage, however, is something few people are aware of. Hyaluronic acid acts as shock absorber, it helps lubricate the joints and it protects against inflammatory joint diseases such as arthritis. In view of the fact that hyaluronic acid is absolutely necessary to maintain optimal joint health and function, it should be obvious that the ingestion of this 100% natural agent in supplemental form is particularly interesting for people who train with heavy weights. In this context, it's certainly worth mentioning that the amount of hyaluronic acid in your body can be reduced not just by smoking, but also in response to the ingestion vitamin C supplements. It is thus actually much easier to become deficient than most people think.

Now, keeping your joints intact is one thing. Actually promoting the repair of damaged cartilage tissue, though, is something totally different –something hyaluronic acid can do for you, though (1). And that's by far not the only health benefit this miraculous molecule has to offer: According to recent scientific papers hyaluronic acid will also ameliorate the characteristic loss of bone mass in patients with osteoporosis (2), exert beneficial effects on your immune system and protect your whole body from free radical induced oxidative damage.
The synergy of the all-natural ingredients in Joint Cissus Complex is unrivaled. For now, there is no other dietary supplement that will have similar beneficial effects on the regeneration and overall health of your joints and simultaneously sooth the pain and inflammation that's keeping you from being as active as you want, and your cartilage from being repaired.

The combination of four powerful natural ingredients in Cissus Joint Complex speaks for itself: Glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and Cissus will individually and synergistically ameliorate joint pain, promote the regeneration and repair of cartilage, tendons and ligaments and exert direct and indirect beneficial effects on the accrual of lean muscle tissue.

You will be hard pressed to find another joint health supplement on the market with similarly wide-ranging beneficial effects on cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and skeletal muscle like Joint Cissus Complex by GN Laboratories!
