Ingredients:

  • 500 g chicken liver, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, cut into slices
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed or chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 2 cups spinach
  • ½ teaspoon piri piri spice
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup white rice

Preparation

  1. Pour the oil into the pan and heat over a medium heat.
  2. Add the onions, peppers and garlic to the heated pan and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Then add the chicken livers and all the spices and fry the livers for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Add the spinach and fry briefly.
  5. Place the rice on the plates and cover the rice with the fried liver and vegetables and garnish with a little parsley
