FA Vitarade EL fueled by Vitargo® was designed for elite athletes to provide them easily assimilated energy source stored in the body as the muscle glycogen. FA Vitarade EL fueled by Vitargo® contains patented high molecular mass carbohydrates, that have a similar structure to glycogen.
The greatest advantage of high molecular mass carbohydrates contained in FA Vitarade EL fueled by Vitargo® is their low osmolality in comparison to other forms of carbohydrates, such as glucose, fructose, sacharose or maltodextrin, commonly used in other carbohydrate supplements. Glucose (through the process of glycolysis) is a main energy source during the strength or strength/speed effort. Muscle and liver glycogen stores can become almost completely depleted during strength workouts3, which leads to a decrease in muscle strength and training volume, depletion of glycogen augments catabolic activity in muscle cells increasing the level of cortisol, the hormone known for its strong catabolic properties. To replenish glycogen: Mix 1 portion in 400 ml of water. Drink 3 portions of VITARADE® EL fueled by Vitargo® between meals, starting 3 days before the event. Keep your normal diet, it is not recommended to consume excessive amount of food.
During prolonged effort: Mix 1 portion in 600 ml of water and drink 1 portion per every 45 minutes of physical activity.
Strength training: Mix 1 portion in 400-600 ml of water and drink 1 portion per every 45-60 minutes of physical activity.
Team sports: Drink 3 portions of VITARADE® EL fueled by Vitargo® the day before the game. During the game drink 1 portion mixed in 400 - 600 ml per every 45 minutes of game.
During everyday activity, as a carbohydrate drink: Mix 1 portion in 600 ml of water and drink 1 portion per every 45-60 minutes of physical activity.
Post-workout regeneration: Mix 1 portion in 400 ml of water or milk and drink immediately after the workout and consume another portion every 30-60 minutes.
