USPLabs has been a company that has ebbed and flowed with the success of its supplements over the past few years. After reaching its pinnacle a few years back with the creation of the concentrated pre-workout Jack3d, the company has had varying degrees of success with later formulations and products. One of their latest supplement releases is AminoLIFT, an amino acid and caffeine mix. Let’s take a look at what’s in their newest supplement and how it should be used.
USPLabs AminoLift is a simple intra-workout supplement which combines 2 blends of ingredients. These include:
AminoLift also contains a range of B Vitamins at ultra high doses 10-20 times more than the recommended daily requirements including Vitamin B1, B6 and B12. The product is available in a 246g tub (8.7 oz) containing 30 servings of roughly 8.2g.
From the initial details of the supplement as well as the short video released introducing the supplement, we know that USPLabs are aiming this product at the growing Crossfit and/or powerlifting community. While it doesn’t exclude hardcore bodybuilders, the ingredients in the supplement are perhaps geared more towards sustaining longer, more intense workouts. One can hardly go wrong with an essential amino acid supplement with caffeine and B Vitamins and the product should stack well with USPLabs pre-workout Jack3d Micro and their other products such as the OxyElite Protein Powder. The ingredients are well dosed and the Focused Energy Blend provides plenty of ingredients to help provide attention and concentration support; which tends to diminish over more gruelling workouts.
There’s nothing really wrong with USPLabs latest supplement except that it’s a little bit derivative and uninspiring. Optimum Nutrition’s Amino Energy is pretty much exactly the same formula minus the B Vitamins and has been around for at least 2 years now. The combination of essential amino acids and nootropics though is always going to be a safe bet with very little negatives.
So far we know that USPLabs AminoLift will be available in two flavours including Fruit Punch and Watermelon. One thing USPLabs have excelled is flavouring their products and this new supplement should be no exception. Intra-workouts such as AminoLift should also be quite easy to mix and the taste itself should be a positive boost to workout capacity.
USPLabs AminoLift is a rather soft new entry into the supplement world. The supplement is promising to fans of the brand wanting a stronger intra-workout or want to give pre-workouts a rest, but to everybody else may be passed over in preference for traditional intra-workouts such as Scivation Xtend and Gaspari Nutrition AminoLast. USPLabs AminoLift is an excellent pro endurance supplement and is ideal for intermediate to advanced trainers looking at improving recovery and performance.
